This Logo, on the left side of my wall is for respecting and remembering 9/11 victims, and also all the victims of any terrorist attack or war. Its not representing of any tendency towards any war (even war on terror). Although I wish alqaeda or other terrorist groups disappear forever, I never dare to wish something that leads to victimizing more innocent people.
I will never forget the night I saw her sitting on that cold stony step. That part of her face that was out of the Chador represented an age of more than eighty.
That was the time Iran was drowning in poverty* , day by day more and more children and old beggars you could see in Tehran.
I was so devastated seeing her that when I got back home I almost finished a full pocket of sigarets. I took a piece of moquette for her, and tried to get to know her.

Gradually we became friends, she loved faloodeh shirazi, and that is some sort of traditional frozen dessert, composed of sweet noodles and lemon water ice. we used to talk having it. I had to know why she needed to ask for money, although I knew there was no possibility that I could change that situation.
She told me she had two sons, both students. Both had been killed in Iran-Iraq war. I asked about "bonyad e shaid" and why they don't help her**, she said she'll never get the money came from her sons' blood anyway. she had a daughter too, but their landlord didnt let her to work (!). letting them stay there was depended on that. Obviously it wasnt the whole story but I didnt ask about it more.
I didnt see her anymore after couple of months, I dont know what happened or where she is now.
This is what we call civilization. But from the head to toe when I look, I don't see any difference with jungle. Except that theres more iron and cement here.
A real civilized society, in my opinion is the one in which no one ever loses anyone because of war. Where you don't need to terrify people with a promised fire to set them in their place.
A world in which instinct doesnt rule.
And it definitely neither creates a holly war leader nor a president with a mission from Christ to catch him.***
*from five-four years ago, suddenly huge inflation took people towards poverty more than any time in the past.
**Bonyad e shahid is an organization for disposing families of solders killed in Iran-Iraq war.
***Specially the one whos still looking for him in iraq while they say it might be somewhere between Pakistan and Afghanestan in mountains.
