I had and off line message from a friend who asked me what I thought about the last Harry Potter.. I know it’s a little late to talk about this topic but any way I read it while I was in Iran and it made me so sad that even the happy ending couldn’t cheer me up.
I liked the character Snape since he was introduced to the reader. Although J.K.Rowling covers him in a mysterious enmity almost throughout the story -that makes him even more attractive- all the time you know something is missing here..and then BOOM! Snape’s tears dropping on Lily’s letter when he is reading the words written by "the love of his life" at the night she was murdered by Voldemort.
The tragedy of the Snape’s life and death, made me cry like a spring cloud. Call me crazy, if you want to.
It goes even deeper when you find out he indirectly was the reason of her death by spying on Dumbeldore when he was listening to the prophecy.
Dumbeldore who is gay by the way as J.K Rowling said couple of days ago had a tragic story of the same type himself, though he killed his love himself because he wanted to achieve to power by practicing dark art and killing innocent people.
Now keep Harry alive or make him the headmaster of Hogwarts or even the minister of magic. Who cares?
